BJ’s Menu Guide is an independent website. It is not operated by BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. This policy explains what information the website handles and how.

Information we collect

• Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, topic and message you enter. These are saved on the website’s server and emailed to the site administrator.
• Technical information. Like most websites, the web server that hosts this site may automatically log technical details such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to run and secure the website.

The website does not ask you to create an account. Please do not include sensitive personal information, such as health details, in a message.

Cookies and similar technologies

At the time of writing, pages on this website do not set cookies for visitors, do not use browser local storage, and do not load scripts or fonts from other companies’ servers. The menu search and the Meal Builder and Compare tools run in your browser using data from this website, and your selections are not sent to us. WordPress may set cookies for the site administrator when signed in. If this changes, we will update this policy.

Analytics

The website does not currently use an analytics service. If we add one in the future, we will describe it here and explain what it collects before it starts.

Advertising

The website does not currently show advertising. If we later show ads, for example through Google AdSense, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and you could manage ad personalization through Google’s Ads Settings. We would update this policy before any advertising begins.

Contact forms

Messages sent through the contact form are used to read and reply to you, to correct information on the website, and to keep a record of corrections and reports. We limit how often the form can be submitted from one connection to reduce spam.

Third-party services and links

The website links to other websites, such as BJ’s. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. If you send a message, the email provider used by the site administrator handles it as part of delivering the email.
